Welcome to our Membership Programme.

You will have access to the Studio on either a Wednesday Evening or a Saturday Morning for 2 hour sessions across 4 weeks.

We can hold no more than 4 makers at one time due to restricted space.

Beginner

This membership is an introduction to Drysdale Ceramics, as many of you I’m sure our makers yourselves I can understand you are keen to get started. Each individual will be given an introduction on their first session from me on how to prep your clay and manage your work and firings within the studio to a high standard.

If you are new to Ceramics, your first 4 sessions will be more guided by me as I walk you through further tutoring on how to throw forms on the wheel, prep you clay, trim and manage your artwork for bisque and glaze firings.

Intermediate

For those of you who are not strangers to this material, you will still be required to complete your first session as an introduction workshop to the studio, similar to that of a beginner to ensure all safety aspects have been covered. From then you will have the freedom to create and manage your pieces at your leisure. I will be about if needed during sessions so do not be afraid to ask if stuck or unsure of any aspects of the studio/ making process.

We only supply one type of stoneware clay and limited stoneware glazes. All clays and glazes must be checked by myself before firings to reduce risk of damages.

All damages will be covered by those responsible.
